The Croydon Business Retention Programme is a nurturing approach to strategic companies already based in Croydon to encourage their continued operation, investment and growth in the borough. The principal aim of the programme is to ensure that the general business scene in Croydon is not a hindrance to the success of any business.

We help businesses with property, planning, business support, breaking into new business networks, and provide advice and solutions in dealing with local problems, e.g. crime and safety, planning, parking, etc. We lobby on individual issues on behalf of companies and represent business needs at a local, sub-regional and London level. At a local level we provide connections with local government at political Leader and Chief Executive levels and at central Government through local MP's, the Mayor’s Office and other strategic bodies.

To be successful, experience has shown us that it is essential that we work alongside companies at a senior level (usually with a Managing Director or Chief Executive) and maintain contact rather than just respond to any issues or problems at they arise. The service is free and confidential.
