International Trade Advice
We have long established links with international trade experts such as UK Trade & Investment, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and numerous overseas High Commissions and Embassies. We have particularly good links with markets in the Caribbean, Central Europe and South Africa, but are happy to explore other markets of interest to your company.

Inward Trade Delegations
Due to our strong links with numerous companies engaged in international trade in and around Croydon, we frequently host foreign delegations and receive dignitaries from overseas. As a member of Croydon Business you will have the opportunity to explore first hand trade opportunities from numerous locations across the globe.

Trade Missions
Once again, we’ll make all the necessary travel arrangements for you and travel grants may also be available. A pre-visit assessment is made to ensure that you are ready to trade internationally. Typically, you will be one of a group of approximately 20 - 30 businesses travelling on a mission. Business is done:

• Proactively - you or a third party make the business appointments.
• Reactively - local businesses are exposed to promotion through local media and our Mission brochure and word of mouth.
• Internally – you’ll do business with your travelling party. Official trade mission receptions are hosted by High Commissions and Embassies to ensure a high profile for your business activity whilst in the local market.
