CULTURE
The creative industries make up at least 10% of the Croydon economy, primarily in the areas of printing, publishing, software consultancy, architectural activities, advertising, photography and entertainment, although other sectors such as film, video and heritage are growing fast.

Croydon Business is keen to provide support and advice to this important sector.  We are working closely with public and private bodies through the Cultural Partnership to develop a cultural quarter and to support the many emerging creative industries in the borough through the establishment of a creative hub: flexible workspaces, training, mentoring, exhibition, showcasing, marketing and networking facilities would be available to businesses in Croydon. TOURISM

Tourism is an important and growing industry in Croydon and Croydon Business leads on its development in the borough, particularly in the business tourism sector through conferencing, exhibitions and incentives. Croydon Business is working closely with the LDA and Visit London to implement strategies in partnership with other boroughs across South London. We are especially keen to explore stronger links with hotels and visitor attractions in Croydon.
